As many mentioned you have to dance around the Shambler by constantly peek-shooting him. Use the same strategy when dealing with multiple Knights. Take out either your Super Shotgun or Nailgun, circle-strafe, and fire away. However, it's best to do so quickly, as their attacks are swift. In Quake 1, a Shambler is a Yeti-like large beast with blood-stained white fur, a very large mouth displaying enormous fangs, no visible eyes, and sharp claws. ![]()
